So many of us second guess our choices, our decisions, especially when it comes to starting a business. We have all thought, I have no time, I am not a salesperson, I can’t do what you do, I work another job, my spouse won’t approve of me starting a business and/or I don’t think I can afford the start up cost.
Of course starting something new, especially a business, is not a decision one can take lightly. I agree, it’s important to weigh all the pros and cons. So, how about I shed some light on the concerns that seem to shake some people’s resolve.
1. I don’t have the time
Trust me, most people who become consultants wonder how they will have enough time to “do it all”!
The funny thing is that most people don’t feel they have the time because they are overwhelmed by all of the demands of work and home responsibilities. Thankfully, your Arbonne business will flourish alongside your current job (situation), if you want it to, and can lead to financial independence.
Whether you work 1 hour a day or 1 hour a week, you have the flexibility to choose your own hours so that you can maintain a balanced lifestyle.
2. I am not a salesperson!
Statistics show that people with limited or no sales experience have a higher success rate in this business.
The reason is that a person who has never been involved in direct sales is more receptive to learning from their sponsor (the Arbonne consultant who helped you get your business started) . There are no pre-conceived notions of what should or should not be, so you will learn very quickly.
I don’t consider myself a salesperson, but after falling in love with the products I couldn’t contain my enthusiasm. It’s just like sharing a great movie or recipe! On top of that, you will be starting a business for yourself, not by yourself. I will guide and support you in your efforts to become a better sales person so that you can get your business going.
Arbonne has great training, tools and resources that will show you how to run a successful business.
I am not looking for sales people to join my team. I’m looking for people who like people and want to share a wonderful product.
3. I could never do what you do
What is it about what I do that you feel you could not do?
Some say selling. If so, refer back to Reason 3.
buy levitra discount And every bite of their Christmas dinner would taste like medicine. Don’t let their sildenafil bulk victim-hood benefits stop them from forgiving. If it has to do with speaking in front of others, don’t worry I am a super shy person. However, I have come to be more comfortable speaking in front of others. Yes, it took me some time to get comfortable, but it is definitely a skill that I’ve refined. To be honest, it has made me into a more confident person.
In the beginning I can help you by leading presentations on your behalf, until you get your bearings and are ready to brave the crowds!
4. I work another job
Arbonne is the perfect fit for people who want to develop an alternate source of income. With Arbonne, you truly are your own boss. In just three years, my sponsor, Tara Vargas, was able to generate enough income to allow her to walk away from her job as an Education Director for Oxford Learning Centres so that she could stay home with her kids.
5. My spouse won’t approve of me starting a business
I was very fortunate. My husband supported me in the decision to start my business.
Your spouse may be apprehensive if he/she doesn’t have all the facts or if they feel that they aren’t included in your decision to start a business. You may want to sit down and let him/her know what benefits the business has to offer and underline that without their support it would be very difficult for you to pursue this opportunity.
6. I don’t think I can afford the start up cost!
Really the amount of money that is needed to start this business is laughable! You can own your Arbonne business for as little as $95. That is all it costs to register as a consultant!
What about the products? Taking your business seriously will require you to invest in some of the products, but how much you buy is up to you. Arbonne is a “try before you buy” company, meaning it is critical that you have some products to show your friends, family colleagues and potential clients. In my experience, customers usually only need to try the product for three days before they fall in love with it.
On average, new consultants spend between $95 – $2,500 to start their business. I started my business with about $2,000 worth of products.
The nice thing is that you get to choose how much or how little you spend. This business is tailored to your life, you make it your own from the very beginning!
